Can I start free and upgrade later?

Yes. The Free plan is not a trial — it does not expire. Move up when you need more assets, faster checks, longer history or client-ready reports. Your assets and configuration carry over.

What counts as an 'asset'?

Accepted Answer

A domain or hostname you want watched. Free covers 3, Starter 8, Pro 15, Studio 40. If you look after 12 client sites, that is 12 assets.

Do cheaper plans get weaker security checks?

Accepted Answer

No. Every plan, including Free, runs an identical check set. Plans differ by how many assets you can watch, how often they are checked, how long history is kept, and how you report on it. We deliberately do not sell tiered scan depth.

Question 4

What happens if I reach my asset limit?

Nivaronix stops you adding a new asset and tells you which plan covers it. Nothing you already monitor is switched off or deleted.

Is there a limit on manual scans?

Accepted Answer

Yes, per calendar month, once a domain is verified: Free 10, Starter 25, Pro 100, Studio 500. This caps how many on-demand scans you can trigger, separate from continuous monitoring, which keeps checking your assets on the plan's own schedule regardless of scan count.

What currency will I be billed in?

US dollars. That is the price for every customer, wherever you are — not a fallback. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate and the amount on your statement will differ slightly from the figure above.

Do you offer annual billing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paying yearly costs ten months for twelve, so two months are free. The exact annual figure for each plan is shown on the cards above.

Question 8

Can I cancel, and can I get a refund?

Cancel at any time and you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are not self-serve: email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no reason needed — we aim to reply within 2 business days. USD payments are processed by Dodo Payments, so the refund is issued back through Dodo under their terms; payments in NPR are manual QR or bank transfers, which we return by hand.

What happens to my data when history runs out?

Check results and incident history older than your plan's retention window are deleted. Free keeps 7 days, Starter 30, Pro 90, Studio a year, Scale two years. This is enforced, not aspirational — if you need a longer record, that is a genuine reason to upgrade.

Do you offer an uptime SLA?

Accepted Answer

No, and we would rather say so here than in an incident. Nivaronix runs a single monitoring scheduler in one region with no automatic failover, and nightly backups with a worst-case 24 hours of data loss.

Is there an API?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the Pro plan upwards. Customer API v1 covers assets, scans, findings, incidents, monitors, reports and clients over REST. Keys are scoped to the permissions you already hold, and a key can only ever read or write its own organization's data. Pro includes 2 keys, Studio 5, Scale 20; Free and Starter do not include API access. If you are already using a key from before we enforced this, it keeps authenticating until the later of your renewal or 30 days from 19 August 2026 — and every response tells you the date in a Sunset header. The one rough edge, on Pro and Scale alike: there is no key-management screen in the dashboard yet, so keys are created with a documented API call rather than a button.

Nivaronix is operated by Pravin Gyawali, one person, from Nepal. That is why the reliability page exists and why nothing on this page promises more than one person can deliver.
