What We Check
Every submitted link is checked for the same set of signals before a verdict is shown:
Redirects & Shorteners
Nivaronix Check follows the full redirect chain and flags links that land somewhere other than where they appear to go, including known URL shorteners.
Brand Impersonation
The final destination is checked against known brand domains for look-alike patterns commonly used in phishing.
Domain Age
Very recently registered domains are treated as a suspicious signal, since phishing infrastructure is typically short-lived.
DNS & TLS
Nivaronix Check confirms the destination domain actually resolves and serves a valid TLS certificate before it can be trusted at all.
How the Check Works
Paste a link or upload a QR code image — the image is decoded in your browser and never uploaded. Nivaronix Check runs the signals above against the final destination and returns one of four verdicts: Low Risk, Suspicious, Dangerous, or Unknown when there isn't enough evidence to judge. Nothing you check is stored.
